Patient Resources

The Endometriosis Association was the first organization in the world created for those with endometriosis. They are a self-help organization of women and families with endo, doctors, scientists, and others interested in exchanging information about the endometriosis disease. Their ultimate goal is to find a cure and prevention for endometriosis while at the same time providing education, support, and research to those affected.

If you’re thinking about suicide, or worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24/7 at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

The Whole30 dietary program is more than just a diet, it is a formula that contributes to endometriosis remission. Through the removal of harmful foods such as dairy, gluten, sugar, and the like, this painful, inflammatory disease is quieted, thereby inviting a detoxification process from harmful hormones, regulating blood sugar and the digestive tract, in addition to promoting a clean, organic intake. Dr. McGuirk seeks to change certain aspects of her patients’ diet and recommends Whole30 to accomplish this as part of her plan of care.
